China

China is as compelling today as it was 700 years ago when Marco Polo first opened the doors of this vast land to the West. China is a historically and culturally rich country. It has the world's largest population and one of the oldest civilizations. Visitors can wander the Forbidden City and marvel at the majestic Summer Palace, walk the Great Wall (an amazing building feat that spans 4,000 miles), view the Terra-cotta Warriors, cruise the Yangtze River, stroll the Bund in Shanghai, camel ride along the romantic Silk Road, and photograph Guilin's unique scenery which has inspired centuries of landscape painters. A visit to China is an enriching experience.
